AIX Experience Tour

For the canal cruise you depart from the Oudezijds Voorburgwal 30a in Amsterdam and take a private tour through the canals. You can choose the AIX rosé arrangement that suits your group. You can of course also order snacks. Contact us to put together a nice package.

Cruise route

Since the AIX Experience Tour is only for you and your guests, you can discuss with the captain where you want to go. Would you rather be surprised? In that case the captain will set his own course and he will show you the most beautiful places in Amsterdam.

Live information

We do not work with pre-recorded audio tapes. Our crew will provide you with live commentary with a joke here and there. That’s how it’s done in Amsterdam. Do you not like this and would you rather talk quietly with your guests? Then our captain will wisely keep his mouth shut. You can of course ask him anything.

AIX rosé

The AIX rosé comes from the Provence region in France and has already conquered many rosé hearts in a short time. What is so special about this rosé?

History AIX rosé

The AIX rosé originated in the Provence and was launched in 2009. The vineyards, first called Domaine La Grande Séouve, have since been known as Domaine Saint AIX. The recipe improved in 2010, which turned out really well. The AIX wine quickly increased in popularity.

Appearance

A wine bottle has never looked so trendy. The AIX wines are in a beautifully designed bottle with a label that stands out. There are several sizes available, but we sell the 0.75l and the 1.5l (Magnum) bottle on the boat.

There is no accounting for taste

You float through the Amsterdam canals in a luxurious open boat. That really needs to include a rosé with a great taste. AIX rosé has the unique flavor combination of red berries, apricot, plums, caramel and spices. It is a dry, fresh wine.

Awarded

Every year AIX rosé is chosen as one of the tastiest rosé wines. Well, that’s saying something! The guests on our tour boat often compliment us about it. Only the best grapes are used for this rosé wine, such as cabernet sauvignon, grenache, cincault and carrignan. Just come and taste it yourself!

Other information

  Gisteren zijn mijn partner en ik meegeweest met de Magical Light Tour van Floating Amsterdam, en het was werkelijk een magische ervaring. Onze schipper René, een echte Amsterdammer, maakte de tocht extra bijzonder. Met zijn humor en leuke weetjes vertelde hij op een ontspannen en interessante manier over de stad en de lichtkunstwerken. Dat gaf de tour echt een persoonlijke en gezellige sfeer. De vaart door de Amsterdamse grachten is op zichzelf al prachtig, maar in combinatie met de indrukwekkende lichtkunstwerken werd het helemaal af. Het was romantisch, sfeervol en tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Er waren warme kleedjes aanwezig en zowel warme als koude drankjes, waardoor je heerlijk comfortabel kon genieten. Wij hebben enorm genoten en gaan dit in de zomer zeker nog een keer doen. Absoluut een aanrader voor iedereen die Amsterdam eens op een andere, betoverende manier wil beleven ✨🚤

  Fantastic and authentic canal experience with Floating Boats Amsterdam The Light Festival 2025 tour was amazing — very informative, relaxed, and with a great atmosphere. Small groups, a very personal vibe, and a skipper who is genuinely friendly and passionate about what he does. (I also loved the cool playlist that matched each art piece 😄) We already joined a Floating Boats tour back in 2019 and had such a great experience that it was an easy decision to come back. Highly recommended if you want a unique and authentic way to experience Amsterdam from the water — without the typical crowded tourist boat feeling. Unfortunately, it was pretty cold… so we might just have to come back again in spring! ✨
